its a late nigh radio show so there isn't a lot of presenting its mostly music with ads very 30 minute this is probably because the station wont be getting a lot of listeners at that time however the station still needs a show to work as filler till the breakfast show.

How would you describe the presentation style of the presenter? (Consider language e.g. does the presenter use slang etc.? Tempo e.g. did the presenter talk fast slow etc.? Accent e.g. Do they sound posh, is it regional etc.? )

the presenter changes a lot so its hard to say but i think most of the presenters don't talk a lot and use a lot of slang.

Does the presentation style of the presenter match the music policy (type of music being played) of the show/station? If it does or doesn’t explain why?

the presenter work more as an intro to the upcoming songs and gives quick news updates and doesn't really get a long time on the air

not really they give the name or the artist and the name of the song and doesnt give any personal opion on the music .

Does the show include any station or show idents/promos? If so write a brief description of them. Do they fit with the style of the show? (Explain why).
they give a quick indent  for the name of the station every half hour or so.

Radio work

we have been planing are radio shows for this unit i have done research in to my genre of radio show (rock-alternative rock)

My radio proposal

For my radio show I plan on doing a rock music show ( a radio show that specialises in playing rock music) aired on kerrang radio around 4-5 pm targeted to young adults between the ages of 15 and 22, The reason I choose the Kerrang radio station is because the station follows the genre I've choose to do (rock) and is one of the most popular rock stations in england As for the name of my show will be maybe “rock the radio” or just “rock radio”. between song I'll link them with me giving the name for the next song and the name of the show and station As for my presentation style i'll try and be really energetic As for my ident i think i'll have a drum and electric guitar similar to the one kate for kerrang used and put A walkie talkie effect on a vox-pop with everyone say the name of the show (like the one from planet rock) as well as having small talking segment in between the first 2 songs where I will talk about the previous songs as well as the artists and previous songs by them I may call the next segment of the show the non stop rock and make it a continues music segment till the end of the show, at the beginning of the show I might have something like the minions at the beginning of the ign kerrang gaming show and give it my own twist by making become more creepy, as for the music i'm gonna use i have six songs lined up.

The genre of music i'm show will play will be a mix of pop punk rock, alternative rock and metal rock music-
song i'm gonna use

research summary

From my research I've learned that both show that I listened to had no more than 2 presenters at a time and that both show relied on long talking segments In between a group of 2 to 3 songs at A time they were both after 3;00 show and both lasted more than 3 hours however I can't have my show go on that long so that will be a difference between my show and the others ; The idents were different kerrang is heavily music based while planet rock was more vocal based beyond this the only over difference in their show was one had to go to ad breaks every so often in between songs while Kerrang does not. Kerrang also does an traffic and new segment however this was only at the beginning of the show I watch so Im unsure If Its just an over run from the previous show or not.
